Sparta juniors volunteer at London 2026 World Championships

Some of Sparta’s juniors had a brilliant opportunity to volunteer as ball boys at the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London 2026, held across the Copper Box Arena and OVO Arena Wembley.

It was a special chance to be right beside the world’s best players and to see how a major international event works from behind the scenes. They also managed to meet some huge names, including China’s Ma Long, Brazil’s Hugo Calderano, Sweden’s Truls Möregårdh, and many more.

China finished the Championships on top, winning both team titles. The women’s team beat Japan 3-2 in the final, before the men’s team completed the double with a 3-0 win over Japan.
